I think I am in love! Oh you inspire me! You are an incredibly talented artist, (in my eyes) Could you talk more about how you made the post cards? Are they applique? Is there water color on it? They are beautiful.

Hi Jo,
Sorry it's taken me a while to respond.
The postcards are made using fabric. Assemble them like a quilt, meaning there's a top, middle and backing in a sandwich form, then stitched around the edges. I often use a raw edge applique, using fabrics that I find and put in my "stash".
I have also made cards by gluing felt pieces to a background muslin and by using Angelina fibers and Tinzel, odd threads and yarns and putting a piece of chiffon or tulle netting on top.
I'll be happy to give you more information if you wish.
You can also go online and google ACEO cards .... or check them out on eBay. I love making them. They are little works of art that I never tire of making...and there are no rules...you can use paint on them, glue on some sparkles, whatever suits your fancy. I belong to a swap group and we exchange cards with each other. If you are interested in joining that group for the next swap, let me know, as I'm the group monitor.
The name of that group is FabriCardArt@yahoogroup.com
(it may be yahoogroups.com)
Warmest Regards,
Phyllis
